WNC Fly Fishing Expo!!!
The situation: -The Tuckaseegee in Bryson City hit 20,000 CFS today.
- Deep Creek was as wide as the Tuck under normal flow.
- The WNC Fly Fishing Expo is this Friday and Saturday!
It will take a few days for the waters to come down, maybe a week for the Tuck. Streamer Junkies will have great opportunities to throw sculpin patterns on Deep Creek and other waters with in the next couple days. But for Friday and Saturday there is an amazing chance to catch some great deals from all the great shops across Western North Carolina, and learn from some of the best in Fly Fishing via speakers.
Tom Rosenbauer, of Orvis, is certainly the most recognizable name that will be speaking at the show. Kevin Howell of Davidson River Outfitters will also speak, and will be sure to deliver a very informative session. For those looking to learn more about Euro Nymphing be sure to catch author of "Dynamic Nymping", George Daniel lead a session.
IFTD comes to Asheville. All the newest products introduced this summer at IFTD will be represented. Sage, Scott, Simms, Umpqua, and many more great brands found in Tuck Fly Shop. Umpqua's Zero Sweep Packs will be on hand, as well as the brilliant new Simms 16 Waypoints packs. You will be able to cast the newest rods in the industry in the casting pond.
